Residents of the Tübingen district who receive social benefits can obtain the District Bonus Card from the District Office. According to the Tübingen district website, presenting the card at many public institutions, businesses, clubs, and organizations entitles holders to discounts.
The card can be applied for online at www.kreis-tuebingen.de/kbc. There you will find further information, such as a brochure with an overview of participating institutions and the requirements for the application. It is also possible to apply in person at the District Office or by mail. However, the District Office recommends the online application because it is processed more quickly.
Online Application Process
To apply online, you must be registered with the Baden-Württemberg Service Account:

To do so, you must provide your name and email address. You must also upload proof of eligibility for social benefits in photo or PDF format.
KreisBonusCard valid for twelve months
Only after registering on the portal can you fill out the online application for the KreisBonusCard. This requires information about the person submitting the application and, if applicable, about other household members who are to receive the card. The supporting documents can be uploaded directly. Once the application is approved, the card will be mailed to you, according to the District Office. The KreisBonusCard is valid for twelve months.
Online Services Expanded
The Tübingen district is continuously expanding its range of online services, the statement continues. Currently, this includes over 225 administrative services, such as vehicle registration, driver’s license applications, and housing allowance applications.
