Daylight saving time: the clocks change on March 30

Daylight saving time (CEST) begins again in Germany on Sunday night. On March 30 at 2 am, the clocks will be set forward from 2 am to 3 am. This is announced by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate. This means that the night from Saturday to Sunday will be one hour shorter. As a result, it will be light for longer in the evening. On the other hand, the sun will rise later in the morning than in recent days. Daylight saving time ends on October 26. The clocks will then be set back again and the night on October 26 will last one hour longer. The time change takes place in all member states of the European Union as well as in other neighboring countries, such as Switzerland.
Anyone traveling by train on the night from Saturday to Sunday must be careful. Deutsche Bahn, for example, changes around 120,000 clocks largely automatically during the night. Nevertheless, there are timetable changes because trains sometimes have to wait an hour at a station and some connections are canceled. Detailed information is available at bahn.de and in the DB Navigator. https://www.bahn.de/service/mobile/db-navigator
In the Naldo transport network, all night buses will run on winter time on the night of March 30. According to Naldo, the clocks will not be changed until after the night service closes. (www.naldo.de)
