Discover different areas of work, try out new skills and develop your own abilities: all this is possible with the free course ‘Frauen stark am Werk’ (Women Strong at Work). The Tübingen-based project Passerelle offers this course specifically for women with refugee or migrant backgrounds.
Working with computers
The course starts on Wednesday, 4 June. The course lasts around six months and aims to make it easier for women to access the job market. Participants can learn about a wide range of areas, such as health and nutrition. The women will cook and bake together. The programme also includes sewing and screen printing, exercise and sports such as cycling, yoga and swimming, as well as computer skills, which are important in the world of work.
Childcare available if required
Course days are Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The participants will be empowered through empowerment training and career guidance, as well as learning everyday German. The social counselling service of the Passerelle project advises and supports the women. Childcare is organised if necessary so that mothers can also participate.
Information about the course in German, Arabic, English, Farsi and French, as well as an email address for registration or questions, can be found at:
