Schools function differently in every country. Vocational training also varies depending on the country of origin. There will be an information evening specifically for parents who have immigrated to Germany about the school system and vocational training in Germany. It will take place on Wednesday, 2 April, and will begin at 5 p.m. at the asylum centre at Neckarhalde 40 in Tübingen.
With interpreters for six languages
At the asylum centre, answers will be provided to all questions regarding schools, the transition from school to work or training. Interpreters for Arabic, Persian, Russian, Punjabi, Bosnian and English will be present. Further languages can be requested.
No registration necessary.
Contact person for questions and registration is Franziska Dröscher from the youth development department at the regional transition management in the Tübingen district office. She can be reached by phone at 07071 / 207 6164 or by email at ruem@kreis-tuebingen.de. However, interested parties do not have to register.
