Organized by the Refugee and Integration Department, a job and training fair specifically for refugees in the Tübingen district will take place on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Tübingen District Office. The goal of the event is to give refugees the opportunity to learn about training and job opportunities and to speak directly with employers. Following similar events in Mössingen and Rottenburg am Neckar, this fair is primarily aimed at employers and refugees from the Tübingen area.
About 40 companies from the district will be represented at the fair. A photographer will be on hand to take free headshot photos; attendees should also bring their resumes. The Tübingen-based educational organization Infö e.V. will offer workshops on job application training as part of the supporting program. Interpreters will be available for those who are not yet fluent in German. Registration is not required.
The event’s partners are the University City of Tübingen, the Balingen-Reutlingen Employment Agency, and the Tübingen District Job Center. About 200 interested refugees attended the last job and training fair in November 2025 in Rottenburg.
