People aged 50 and older can once again exercise together for free twice a week during the warmer months. “Staying Healthy and Active as You Age” takes place every Tuesday and Friday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the Old Botanical Garden. The outdoor season kicks off on Tuesday, April 14, at 10 a.m. with an opening event. Participation is free, and no registration is required.
The program is diverse, ranging from fitness training and balance exercises to Shinson Hapkido self-defense training. The training sessions are led by instructors from clubs and initiatives.
The exercise program is organized by the University City of Tübingen in collaboration with the City Senior Citizens’ Council and the City Sports Association. The Kreissparkasse Tübingen, the Volksbank in the Tübingen region, and Stadtwerke Tübingen support the program.
