Garden for rent for one summer

In the Ammertal valley between Tübingen and Unterjesingen, garden plots are once again available to rent for a season this year. This is announced by the city of Tübingen. This gives you the opportunity to grow vegetables and flowers even if you don’t have your own garden. The plots are 36 square meters in size and can be rented and cultivated for a season. They cost 75 euros for one season. You can register now at: info@weimar-gbr.de or www.weimar-gbr.de
The operator prepares the plots in spring so that they can be planted and sown directly with little preparation. Gardening tools and water are provided, seeds and plants are provided by the gardeners themselves. There is a tool shed, a seating area, a composting area and bicycle parking spaces in a communal area. The season ends in October.
The seasonal gardens are located on the cycle path into Ammertal, just before the road towards Schwärzlocher Hof, which branches off the B 296. The seasonal gardens are a component of the Weststadt future plan. The city of Tübingen is supporting the project and taking care of the water supply.
