In the Ammer Valley between Tübingen and Unterjesingen, garden plots are available to rent for a season for the third time this year. This has been announced by the city of Tübingen. Even those who do not have their own garden can plant fruit, vegetables, and flowers. The plots are 36 square meters in size and are leased for one summer. They cost 75 euros for one season. You can register now at: info@weimar-gbr.de or www.weimar-gbr.de
The operator prepares the plots in the spring so that planting and sowing can begin immediately with little preparation. Gardening tools and water are provided, but gardeners must supply their own seeds and plants. You can also swap with your neighbors. There is a tool shed, a compost area, and bicycle parking spaces in a communal area. The owner family will announce the start of the gardening season directly. The season ends in October. The area is then plowed for the winter.
The seasonal gardens are located on the bike path to Ammertal, just before the road to Schwärzlocher Hof, which branches off from the B296. The seasonal gardens are part of the Weststadt Future Plan.
