On 1 January 2026, the Germany ticket will become more expensive again: nationwide, the price will rise from 58 to 63 euros per month. This has been reported by Deutsche Bahn, among others. The price was most recently 49 euros. Regional offers such as the Deutschlandticket Jugend BW will also become more expensive: from 2026, it will cost 45 euros per month instead of the current 39.42 euros. The ticket is valid for children, young people and school pupils under the age of 21. Students and federal volunteers under the age of 27 can also book it.
