Medicines for children‘s hospital in Rivne

Medicines worth €10,000 are on their way from Tübingen to a children’s hospital in Rivne in northwestern Ukraine. Together with the initiative “Tübingen hilft Ukraine” (Tübingen helps Ukraine), the German Institute for Medical Mission (Difäm) has sent medicines for chronically ill children, according to its own statements.

Difäm has been in contact with medical practices, children’s hospitals, and other hospitals since the beginning of the war, supplying them with medicines, bandages, infusion materials, disinfectants, and medical equipment. As a state-approved central procurement agency for medicines, Difäm obtains the materials from manufacturers and wholesalers using donations. The Ukrainian network handles transport and distribution within the country. A group of Ukrainians is collecting money and donations in kind via “Tübingen Hilft Ukraine” (Tübingen Helps Ukraine), which are then transported via Ukrainian logistics partners to Lviv, Mukachevo, or Kiev. The association has so far delivered 296 tons of aid to Ukraine with 39 trucks. Difäm is a Christian organization for global health work.
