No longer satisfied with your current job? How can you re-enter the workforce? Are there funding programs for continuing education? Employees looking to make a change have many questions. The Federal Employment Agency’s (BA) Career Counseling Service provides answers.
Experts from the Employment Agency help you find (new) career prospects. You can schedule an appointment by phone or book it online using the contact form. The advisors are flexible. They offer consultations in person, via video, or over the phone. Their motto: “Life is full of opportunities.”
Identifying strengths and planning career steps
Advisors and those seeking guidance then work together to examine personal strengths, career opportunities, and the current job market. The discussion also covers the knowledge and skills that will be needed in the future. Interested individuals can also use the online “New Plan” test to assess their personal strengths and prospects in the job market. The career workshop, featuring on-site sessions, also offers the opportunity to “gain a clearer understanding of one’s own goals and plan the next step with greater confidence,” according to the BA.
Continuing education is a way to gain qualifications for new roles. “The challenges of digitalization are also a key focus,” says the BA. Continuing education does not automatically mean changing jobs or companies. The BA provides financial support to employers for training their employees.
