A Persian course for children and teens will be offered starting September 19 at the Schlatterhaus, Österbergstraße 2, in Tübingen. It is aimed primarily at the younger generation of Persian-speaking families who no longer speak the language of their parents’ homeland. Children and teenagers can learn about the language and culture of their family’s heritage in a playful way. The course is led by native speaker Yasamin Hassani. Classes are held every Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. The course costs 10 euros per person. “Language connects us to our roots and is a valuable gift for the future,” the information sheet states.
