The Plan.U project in Tübingen offers advice and support to anyone who has fled Ukraine due to the war, answering questions about residence, social benefits, work, and housing. “§24 – what happens next?” is one of the questions listed on the homepage. The advice is aimed at refugees who have a residence permit in Germany under the European Mass Exodus Directive and are considering staying in the country long term. Plan U provides free advice on alternative residence options that can be applied for in parallel with the existing temporary residence permit. Help is also available in cases where certain requirements must be met in order to obtain a different residence permit.
Appointments for a personal consultation can be made at info@planb.social.
Plan.U is part of the Plan.B counseling project, which is supported by move on – menschen.rechte Tübingen e.V and Fluchtpunkte Tübingen e.V. in the Tübingen region and beyond. The counseling work has been funded by the city and district of Tübingen since 2023. The project also receives a grant from the UN Refugee Agency.
