Reduced Germany ticket for inhabitants of Tübingen

Tübingen. On 1 January 2026, the Germany ticket will become more expensive again: nationwide, the price will rise from 58 to 63 euros per month. This has been announced by Deutsche Bahn, among others. In the city of Tübingen, it will then cost 54 euros. The price was previously 49 euros, as municipal subsidies had been reduced from 13 to 9 euros. The Germany ticket for young people in Baden-Württemberg will also become more expensive: from 2026, it will cost 45 euros per month instead of the current 39.42 euros. Here, too, there is a discount for children and young people in Tübingen—the price will drop by £8 to £37. The ticket is valid for children, young people and school pupils under the age of 21. Students and federal volunteers under the age of 27 can also book it.
The ‘Deutschlandticket Tübingen’ is only available to residents registered in the city of Tübingen. Proof of residence is required when ordering. The subscription is personal, valid on all local and regional public transport in Germany (2nd class) and can be cancelled on a monthly basis. Orders as mobile tickets can be placed until the 27th of the current month, and as chip cards until the 10th of the previous month (via the naldo subscription customer portal or at the Tübingen subscription centre).
Holders of a Kreisbonuscard have previously received additional discounts in Tübingen: the Deutschlandticket currently costs them 29 euros, and 15 euros for children and young people in Tübingen. The local council has not yet decided what the prices for Kreisbonuscard holders will be next year.
