“SE Dokument” issues new passports for Ukrainian refugees

Ukrainians can apply to the Ukrainian state-owned company “SE Dokument” in Germany to have old Ukrainian passports and ID cards issued and to have new ones issued. “SE Dokument” is subordinate to the Ukrainian State Migration Service. The company has three branches in Germany – in Berlin (Treptow Park Center shopping mall), Cologne (Breslauer Platz with eight mobile minibuses) and Munich (Heinrich-Wieland-Straße 5).

According to the “Germany4Ukraine” website of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, SE Dokument also offers the possibility of exchanging driver’s licenses. The passport authority enables Ukrainians residing in Germany to obtain valid documents, for example, for applying for financial and humanitarian aid, for enrolling in educational institutions, and for crossing borders without hindrance.

For new documents, you must register on an electronic waiting list and confirm your phone number via text message or the Viber app. After successful registration, the user will receive a number, date, and time via text message or Viber. This notification must be shown to the clerk at the reception desk on your own device.
Further information and registration for the electronic waiting list can be found on the website: https://pasport.org.ua/services
The exact addresses and telephone numbers of the German branches can also be found there.
