Tübingen: Discount on Germany ticket with KreisBonusCard

Tübingen. For KreisBonusCard holders, the Germany ticket in the city of Tübingen will cost one euro more next year. The price for adults living in the city area, including the surrounding districts, with a KreisBonusCard will rise from 29 to 30 euros on 1 January. For young people, the monthly ticket will then cost 17 instead of 16 euros. This was made possible because the Tübingen municipal council decided in November to increase subsidies for the tickets.
In principle, the price of the Deutschlandticket will rise nationwide from 58 to 63 euros per month on 1 January 2026. This has been reported by Deutsche Bahn, among others. In the city of Tübingen, it will then cost 54 euros. (see tuenews 25110503) The price was previously 49 euros, as municipal subsidies had been reduced from 13 to 9 euros. The Deutschlandticket for young people in Baden-Württemberg will also become more expensive: from 2026, it will cost 45 euros per month instead of the current 39.42 euros. Here, too, there is a discount for children and young people in Tübingen—the price will drop by 8 to 37 euros.
