Right at the heart of integration with the tuenews app: since November 2025, we have been compiling particularly useful content for people in the integration process in our own app. We translate the news from tuenews INTERNATIONAL on integration into five languages ourselves. It is free of charge and contains no advertising. The news production is made possible by the district of Tübingen.
The tuenews app was made possible by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Social Affairs with funds from the “Integration vor Ort—Stärkung kommunaler Strukturen” (Local Integration—Strengthening Municipal Structures) funding pot. On 5 September 2023, Integration Minister Manne Lucha announced that the development of the tuenews app was one of six projects in the state to receive the maximum amount of funding from 2023 to 2026.
