tünews INTERNATIONAL has two new positions for the Federal Volunteer Service (Bundesfreiwilligendienst). The two jobs for “Bufdis” have different focuses. One position involves working in the social media editorial department, while the other focuses on online news. “We write news and reports relevant to everyday life for people who are new to Germany and want to integrate here. We work according to journalistic principles and carry out in-depth research,” says the job advertisement.

Language skills are a plus
Volunteers work in a multilingual editorial team that produces journalistic content specifically for new immigrants. Language skills in English, Arabic, Dari, Farsi or Ukrainian are a plus when applying. Other key areas of work are the culture of remembrance and the museum landscape of the Tübingen region. The tasks range from editorial work to translations and organizational activities. Applicants can be younger or older than 27.
