tuenews INTERNATIONAL has been producing and publishing news about integration since 2015. Five journalist coaches support around 20 authors whose flight ended in Germany. They research and write about topics related to their everyday life in Germany and about cultures. Their own translations in Arabic, Persian, Ukrainian, English and German are available at www.tuenews.de/en/, on Instagram channels, via the tuenews app and the INTEGREAT app.
TüFolk is a transcultural music project by Klangfolk e.V. It brings together people of different origins, age groups and musical abilities to celebrate cultural diversity and strengthen social interaction through making music together. The approach in sessions and concerts is not based on sheet music, but is taught and learned by ear using a peer-to-peer method.
At the TüFolk concert, Klangfolk e.V. presents a repertoire that 80 participants from Germany and abroad have worked on during a workshop lasting several days. Afterwards, individual participants and small groups present short musical pieces and their own compositions on the open stage.
