Writing workshop for migrant women

“Who am I, who do I want to be, what are my roots, what are my dreams?” These are the topics covered in a free writing workshop for migrant women at the Tübingen Adult Education Centre. The course consists of three sessions and begins on Thursday, 23 October. Interested participants should have German language skills at level B1 or above.

Experimenting with words
Idzumi Neumärker and Michelle Camila Pérez provide inspiration in the course “Writing between worlds.” The focus is on the participants’ thoughts, experiences and feelings—including when writing. The women can experiment with words and discover their own linguistic creativity step by step. According to the announcement, different techniques help them to find their personal expression. Participants write their texts in German and in their own languages. Translations and linguistic support are available as needed.
The next dates are Thursday, 20 November, and Thursday, 11 December. To register, email Patricia Ober at gesellschaft@vhs-tuebingen.de or call 07071 / 560331.
