There are still numerous apprenticeship positions available in the Neckar-Alb region. At the same time, young people are still looking for apprenticeship opportunities. The Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) in Reutlingen now offers an online matching platform for companies and apprentices.
Although the apprenticeship year has already begun, young people still have a chance to join. On the IHK Reutlingen website, young people who are still looking for an apprenticeship can create their profiles: www.ihkrt.de/azubiprofil. The IHK forwards the pseudonymized profiles—meaning those without any direct identifying information—to companies with open apprenticeship positions. If a company is interested, the IHK facilitates contact with the applicants.

Young people can submit their applications until October 15, 2026. An overview of available apprenticeship positions—both for the current training year and for those starting in 2027—is available on the IHK platform https://meine-ausbildung-in-deutschland.de/. There, you can filter by occupation, location, and preferred company to find the right opportunities.
In the Neckar-Alb region, there are more than 150 recognized IHK apprenticeship occupations to choose from—ranging from business and administration to IT and technology, as well as retail, logistics, and hospitality.
