DataCheck Connect: Help for Ukrainians in Germany

The online platform DataCheck Connect has launched in Germany. It is designed for Ukrainians and helps them find verified medical, psychological, social and legal support services nearby.

Search for support nearby

Users can search for support services near them via the platform, for example by entering a ZIP code or address. The platform provides information on psychological counseling, legal issues, health insurance, social assistance and support in difficult life situations. Users can also request telephone interpretation for doctor’s appointments. The platform is free to use, and the support services listed there are also free of charge.

Support in Tübingen

DataCheck Connect can also provide specific contacts in Tübingen. When searching with the ZIP code 72070, the platform displays 14 available support services in the area. These include help with filling out forms and applications, support with questions about health insurance, counseling on HIV/AIDS and migration, HIV testing, testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and hepatitis C, legal information, help in cases of discrimination, as well as support for people in crisis situations, people experiencing homelessness or people who have experienced violence.

Who is behind the project

The platform was jointly developed by Deutsche Aidshilfe, 100% Life and the National HIV Hotline Ukraine. The project is supported by the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
