On 26 April 2026, Tübingen will once again host a Family Day. As part of the large-scale city-wide game featuring 15 stations, numerous clubs, organisations and initiatives will offer a varied programme of hands-on activities, games, fun and exercise.
All activities are free of charge, according to a statement from Tübingen City Council. The stations will be open from 11 am to 4 pm. Activities will take place, among other places, in the Nordstadt at the WHO community centre, on Europaplatz near the main station, on Lorettoplatz in the Südstadt and in the Mühlenviertel in Derendingen. The full programme is available on a flyer. It can be obtained from Café Sozial at the Department of Social Affairs at Derendinger Straße 50, at the City Library, at the municipal utilities, at the Schwäbisches Tagblatt and at www.buefa-tue.de.
Prizes to be won on Family Day
The flyer also includes an entry form with instructions for the game. It states that anyone who visits three stations and has them stamped on the entry form will have the chance to win a prize. The flyer also serves as a ticket allowing free travel on the TüBus between 9 am and 8 pm on Family Day.
