Every year, around 120 million metric tons of clothing are thrown away worldwide. It doesn’t have to be that way. There are numerous secondhand stores in the Tübingen district. They sell used clothing, as well as shoes and accessories, at low prices. Some also offer home textiles, dishes, or books. In “free” stores, the goods are even given away for free.
