It is now possible to book appointments at the Tübingen Jobcentre using a terminal or a tablet. tuenews International visited the centre and tested these functions.
To book an appointment via the terminal, you scan the QR code on the screen using your own smartphone. You can also select your preferred language on the device. You then select the service and date online and enter your personal details. Confirmation of your appointment will be sent automatically to the email address you provided.
Booking via tablet is done directly via the Jobcentre’s website. You do not need a smartphone for this. If you have any questions, the advisers on site will be happy to help.
You can also complete this registration process yourself directly on the website Online Appointment Booking.
If you have already booked an appointment and arrive at the specified time, you must press the ‘Appointment Check-in’ button on the registration terminal. You will then receive a receipt with your queue number. The system registers your arrival. The relevant staff member automatically receives a notification that you are already in the building and waiting for your appointment.
