New “Resource Circle” for Ukrainians in Tübingen

A new support program for people from Ukraine will soon start in Tübingen: the “Resource Circle.” An information session will take place on July 10, 2026, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Café Sozial, Derendinger Straße 50.

A Space for Exchange and Support

The “Resource Circle” is aimed at people from Ukraine who are looking for an accessible opportunity to talk about personal challenges related to war, displacement, arrival in Germany and adjustment to a new environment. The focus is on exchange, mutual support and simple techniques that can help participants regain a sense of inner stability.
According to the Department for Refugee Assistance of the University City of Tübingen, the project emerged from the “Psychosocial Counseling” working group. It was developed in cooperation with Ukrainian-speaking psychologists from Ukraine who have personal experience of forced migration.

Information Session

At the open event, interested people can learn more about the format and find out whether the “Resource Circle” is a good fit for them. In a safe and friendly atmosphere, the session will address topics such as adjustment, exhaustion and inner strength. A few simple exercises will also be introduced, which can later be used during the “Resource Circle” meetings.
The information session will be held in Ukrainian. Registration is required.
