From Monday 13 July, a parent-and-baby group will be held in Ammerbuch from 10 am to 12 noon at the community centre in Pfäffingen (Michaelstraße 7). It is entitled “All Languages. All Cultures. All Families’ and is aimed at all parents with babies – particularly those who are new to the community, want to get to know other families, or do not yet speak much German. The contact persons are the district’s integration officer, Barbara Tomforde, and her Ammerbuch counterpart, Petra Tiwari. The aim is to spend time together, get to know one another and gather ideas for future meetings. Childcare will be provided during the event. Anyone who speaks very little German can ask for assistance from interpreters. Car-sharing arrangements can also be organised.
The meeting is supported by the Ammerbuch local council and the State Ministry for Social Affairs, Labour and Health.
