The State Family Pass has been available for more than 45 years. This year, it offers even more opportunities. The goal is to enable families to take advantage of recreational, cultural, and excursion activities for free or at reduced rates. The Ministry of Social Affairs also provides information in Arabic, Farsi, and Ukrainian.
Who Is Eligible for the Pass
The State Family Pass is available at city and municipal administrations. It is available to families with at least three children eligible for child benefit, single parents with at least one child, and families with a severely disabled child. Families receiving the child supplement, housing allowance, basic income support, or benefits under the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act are also eligible for the pass. There are 54 vouchers. Often, simply presenting the State Family Pass is sufficient.
In the Tübingen district, there is only one attraction
With the pass and the voucher card, families can, among other things, visit state-owned castles, gardens, and museums for free, or visit swimming pools and amusement parks at reduced prices. In the Tübingen district, only the castle and monastery in Bebenhausen participate free of charge. For other attractions, families must travel farther, such as to the forest rope course in Herrenberg.
