The parcel service DHL now offers its parcel notifications in 13 languages. The email that informs DHL customers about the expected delivery date, updates on the shipment, and the place of delivery is now available in Arabic, Albanian, English, French, Hebrew, Italian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, and Ukrainian, in addition to German.
According to a press release from the company, the translation is done with a click on an icon in the email. With the help of Google Translate, the email content is automatically translated into the desired language.
To make the daily work of delivery personnel easier, the information can be displayed on the handheld scanner in a total of 20 languages during delivery, the press release continues. According to its own information, DHL sends over ten million emails per day to notify customers of package deliveries.
